I Will Miss You My Friend

My heart is heavy with sorrow, my spirit filled with
pain, because today I had to say goodbye to you my
dear friend. My mind plays all the memories back for
me to see and even in my pain I smile. I remember your
laughter and wit, and the way you had of always
bringing a smile to my face, I will miss you my
friend. The happy, laughing, good times, all the
silliness we used to share and the roses you always
gave.
I am so thankful that I was privileged enough to get
to meet you in person and to be able to call you
friend. You will never know how many different ways
you touched my life and made it better just knowing
you; I will miss you my friend.
You will never truly be gone for in my heart you will
always have a place, one of honor and love and
friendship, I will miss you my friend until the day we
meet again. Rest softly in Gods loving embrace, I will
miss you my friend.
